Created with a perfect piece of walnut that had a hint of a wolf howling in it - this custom work or art came with a list of very specific requirements.

Requested by an incredibly bright little girl with a deep love and respect for wolves for a very special day (her 7th birthday!). The requirements were carefully laid out well in advance of the completion date;

Must be a wolf...

Howling at the moon...

With trees...

And a blue lake...

And mountains...

With northern lights...

And clouds...

It must be night, but clear like a day...

Made with fatherly love - this bad boy even incorporated an old window frame from a barn that had fallen off years prior. Having spent her entire life to date on the property - this reminder of her 'BarnYard' will always be with her.

Did I mention she also used her birthday as an opportunity to raise money for the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary (www.aspenvalley.ca)?
