Copper River

Upon removal of an old gas-stove and the original back splash, an upgrade was needed to better showcase the new oven. Joining both segments of  barn-boards from the original 1920 barn on the property - is a blue river using epoxy representing the Thames River, a prominent feature of South-Western Ontario. The back splash was finished with more wood from the barn, covered in epoxy with a blue-copper design and thin copper sheeting - held in place with copper nails - on the bottom to protect from heat and really make the back splash stand out.
